So, my last Doctor's appointment I was measuring at 40 weeks, (that's totally baked and ready to come out!) exactly 2 weeks big! So the Doctor told me that this is a "BIG KID" and the way he looked at me so seriously, it kind of freaked me out! I wanted to ask, "how big are we talking here" but the shock didn't wear off until after the appointment so maybe next time I will ask him how big is "BIG".
Needless to say, I was slightly panicky after my appointment to get something going. I was dilated to a "loose 1" I'm assuming that is somewhere between a 1 and a 2 and I was 50% effaced. So yesterday and today I walked until I started to hurt, then I walked some more and somehow the pain that was building in my back and hips was settling my mind. haha
All I could think about was a quote I saw on someone's facebook a while ago about how there baby needed to "pack up her placenta and head out" I truly understand her frustration now.
So now that you all think I am crazy! I can now say that I understand why women take all the drastic measures to put themselves into labor.
Well, that's my update for now, I hope she decides to come early, that would be awesome, but if she decides to stay in there and keep growing "BIGGER" then I guess I will have to deal with it. :) and just focus on how cute her chubby little cheeks will be when she comes out! :)
So here are some belly pictures from the last few weeks.
(Me around 35 weeks)

(Me around 36 weeks)

(me around 37 weeks)
(me today at 38 weeks and 1 day)

(the boxy shape of my belly comes from my undershirts not being long enough anymore to cover the bump, haha, it just keeps on growing!)
(it also looks like I need to clean my mirror)

I totally remember being where you are! the last couple weeks are the hardest, but she will be here very soon, and in just a couple weeks you'll definately be holding her in your arms!! You are already a great mother! I'm praying for you to have a good delivery!
McKenna was 10 days late. I remember thinking she would NEVER come! Now she's getting married. Time is so relevant!
You look so cute!
Aryn, you make me laugh. I should send you my labor muffin recipe. I was making them when I went into labor with Luci. I'll just warn you that they are high fiber :).
Nathan was induced 1 week late, and I had been dilated to a 3-4 for 3 weeks. You just never know what they are going to do. But if you want something things to try (with out resorting to caster oil) these were ones that I heard of. Pineapple (i had someone and went into labor with Maelie not that I think it was correlated but I had heard it was which is why I ate it). Spicy food, prenatal massage, bumpy car rides. Thats all I can think of. You are a cute prego person!!
you look GREAT!!! I can't believe how close you are getting. Nothin wrong with big babies, but more of them to love :) Good luck with the rest of you pregnancy can't wait to see pictures of your little girl!
